Most of you are familiar with this from last year so we are going to stretch it a bit further and introduce the elements of color and design.
Monochromatic is the use of one color. all aspects of the color. So once you do your line drawing of yourself, you will choose one color to use for all of the drawing. you may use pencils, crayons, marker paint or whatever you like to color yourself. but only one color. lets only use crayon or pencil on your face though!

your self portrait will be the cover of your portfolio. We will keep all of our work in a portfolio til the end of the semester so make sure you have a folder or binder to keep your art work in.
