information on supply dropoff
Important Information Regarding Student Supplies:
To help clear up any confusion regarding student supplies I have edited the list to indicate which supplies will be kept separated from community supplies once they are in our classroom and need to be labeled.  All supplies I have listed in RED are going to be used by only your child and should be labeled with their name.  Please send the RED labeled supplies in your child’s backpack on the first day of school.  All other supplies can be left on our class’ table outside the main doors where we enter.

I have heard from numerous parents that they are unable to find Clorox wipes due to a nationwide shortage.  There is no need to stress over bringing these right away and it is fine for you to send them whenever you are able to find them back in stock once again.

I am also looking for the following supplies to be donated if possible:
  • 3 ring binders
  • plastic page protectors
  • watercolor paints
  • liquid glue bottles
  • large packaging tape(clear)
  • EXPO board eraser spray
Thank you for getting your children ready for our first day.  Let me know if you need anything.
Mrs. Swanson
Welcome!
Welcome to Kindergarten at Belle Creek Charter School.
We are so happy to have you all here with us.

My name is Amy Swanson and I am thrilled to be your child’s kindergarten teacher.  This will be my 15th year teaching kindergarten and I cannot wait for you to experience all of the extraordinary ways your child will grow and succeed this year.  Kindergarteners and their potentials are nothing short of AMAZING and even after 15 years of working exclusively with kindergarten, they inspire me, shine a light on new perspectives of our world, and make me genuinely smile every single day. I know that I have one of the best jobs in the world and I thank you for giving me this opportunity.

I am also a parent to 3 Belle Creek Students and I am sure you will see them on occasion in our classroom.  My first grade twins are named Elin and Elten and last year I had the privilege of experiencing our kindergarten program from a parent’s perspective while teaching in the room next door to theirs.  I also have a fifth grade son,Trysten, who has been a student at Belle Creek since he was in first grade.  I love this school and the community that surrounds it.

Ms. Alice is our para-educator that is assigned to our class fulltime.  She is an amazing asset to your students and has almost 20 years of experience working with both general education and special education students.  She is always bursting with energy and her positive outlook is contagious.  Most importantly, she knows how to make every single student feel loved and safe while in our class.

She is married and has been for 40 years.  She has one son and 3 grandchildren that absolutely adore her.

Again, welcome to our class! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything.
