Hi Parents!
As we are nearing the end of the school year, we will be having different fun activities coming up! Some weekly updates, this week's spelling words are: fade, knocked, knitting, drinking, pitch, wrapper, hands, by. For the remainder of the school year, we will no longer be checking out books. If your child has not returned their library books yet please have them return them by thisThursday, May 1st. Shh... we will be having a 10-day countdown surprise! Please do not tell your child about this it will be a fun surprise for them! Every morning, we will pop a balloon for the special activity that we will be doing that day. We will be sending additional information on this soon!
*Please let us know if you would be interested in a summer readiness packet for 2nd grade!
Attention Parents:
We’ve made a small change to our dismissal procedure. Teachers will now wait for a staff member wearing an orange vest to approach cars in the pickup line. Once the staff member signals, the teacher (with an orange vest) will ask for the student's name and then call the student over.
For safety reasons, students cannot be walked to vehicles unless a staff member in an orange vest has called them over. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Tuesday, May 13th: 1st Grade Celebration *flyers will be going home with your child today!
Friday, May 9th: 10 Day Countdown Begins ( Shhh this is a Surprise)
Thursday, May 22: Last Day of School Half Day
