David Lopez – Dean of Students

My name is David Lopez, and I am honored to begin another incredible year serving the Belle Creek community as your Dean of Students. This school year marks my 7th year as a Dean of Students and my 10th year in education. Each year has strengthened my passion for building meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff while helping create a positive school culture where every student can succeed.

I was born in Mexico and moved to Denver, Colorado when I was just 2 years old, making me a proud Denver native. My journey has shaped who I am and reinforced my belief that every child deserves to feel like they belong. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife and our two children, cheering on the Denver Broncos, camping with my family, and watching Marvel movies.

As your Dean of Students, my mission is to ensure every student feels welcome, seen, heard, and valued from the moment they walk through our doors. I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and restorative practices help students grow both academically and personally. Whether I'm greeting students in the morning, helping them navigate challenges, or celebrating their successes, I want every child to know they have someone who believes in them and is committed to their success.

I look forward to partnering with our families to make this another outstanding year at Belle Creek Charter School. Together, we will continue building a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every Wildcat can learn, grow, and thrive.
