Ms. Byrd's All About Me

 

 

 Welcome to the Fourth Grade at Belle Creek Charter School!

 

This is my seventh year at Belle Creek. I have worked in the education system for 22 years. I have my BA in Elementary Educations K-6.  I feel that you are never to old to learn something new! 

I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 6th grade; I truly love the fourth grade and feel I make the best connection when I'm teaching what I love. However when I'm not being called

Ms. Byrd, I'm being called mom or grandma! When I'm not teaching I am spending time with my adult children, I have a son and a daughter. I am a very family oriented person. One of my favorite things to do when I'm not teaching is play with my grandsons. I'm currently rock  climbing with my grandson once a week. I love to encourage my students, friends and family, and feel we all need to have a little bit of encouragement.  When I'm not in school I love to bake, hike, or read mysteries.
