Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year in 6th grade! 

 

First, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your student. I look forward to getting to know each student and seeing where our educational journey will take us. :)

 

A little about me - I have been teaching for 14 years, this being my eighth year at Belle Creek (all in 6th grade). I have taught kindergarten and third grade as well. I have two grown daughters and one amazing grandson (not biased at all :). I enjoy reading, hiking, bowling (I'm getting better :), diamond art, as well as spending time with my family. My husband and I also love to watch ghost shows to see if we can debunk their findings as well as any show with Josh Gates - gotta love the comedy and history. (nerdy, I know :)

 

I am looking forward to this year.  Students will be switching for Science and Social Studies so we can get to know ALL of the 6th-grade students and they can get to know all three teachers. This is a new experience for students but should be an exciting time as well. Lots of new learning going on!! I can't wait to see all of the personalities we have in 6th grade this year.
