Ms. Byrd's All About Me

 

 

 

 Welcome to the Third Grade at Belle Creek Charter School!

 

This is my tenth year at Belle Creek. I have worked in the education system for 26 years. I have my BA in Elementary Educations K-6.  I feel that you are never to old to learn something new! 

I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 6th grade. This year I moved to 3rd grade I'm excited about learning new curriculum and teaching a new group of students.

However when I'm not being called Ms. Byrd, I'm being called mom or grandma! When I'm not teaching I am spending time with my adult children, I have a son and a daughter. I am a very family oriented person. One of my favorite things to do when I'm not teaching is to spend time with my grandsons fishing and watching them to moto cross. I'm an animal lover I have several pets. I love bringing my pet turtle or tortiose to school for the kids to learn about them. I love to encourage others, from my students, to my friends and family. I feel we all need to have a little bit of encouragement, and positivity.  When I'm not in school I love to bake, fish, or read true crime and mysteries.

Restaurant: El Jardins, Chili's, Chic-a-fila

Hobbies: Baking , Reading, Fishing, Watching a child learn and grow!
