when dropping off please do the last two two lanes system if dropping off please use the far right arrow to make a wide turn you can come if exiting campus or parking please utilize the far left Arrow to proceed off campus for to a parking space remember there are Vehicles behind you go back into a parking space is not ideal at this time when dropping students off please drive all the way forward to the stop sign before stopping to drop off if there's space to pull ahead please do so stopping prematurely causing the traffic jam behind as Vehicles exit in front of you please pull up if you can remember always put students out on the passenger side closest to the sidewalk this ensures their safety at the exit the vehicle students exiting their vehicles on the driver side are at high risk of being struck by an oncoming traffic and remember the drive is a one-way only right turns with the allowed during drop off and picked up drink pick up in the afternoon continue to pull around until you have reached either the end of the drive or the next vehicle ahead and remain in your vehicles in case we need you to continue a staff member will insure your child is your vehicle safe stopping prematurely will cause a traffic jam just because you can see your child does not mean you should stop there if there's space to pull up a staff member will ask you to please pay close attention to vehicles in front of you so that you won't need this reminder to pull forward again and staff member will ensure your child reaches your vehicle safely they may be required to walk a little bit for the exercise good for them again please remain in your vehicle and a staff member will help get your child to your vehicle if you're picking up students in different grade levels it is wise to arrive at a time closer to dismissal for the older student were exactly if you're picking up a second grader and the 7th grade it is better to arrive around rather than 3:30 this ensures that you don't have to wait for very long or sit for a very long time in the carpool lane. As you are arriving remember to enter the pickup line at the rear and pull up as far as if the far right lane is full please pull around to the middle and again pull up as far as possible Do not cut in as there are vehicles pulling forward and this may cause an accident the far left lane is for through traffic and no stopping is allowed. Once traffic is moving, a staff member will assist with directing vehicles out of the pickup line. Please be patient and await your turn. It will make for a safer, smoother, and quicker transition out of the pickup line watch as Mr. Lundy directs traffic from the inside and, once clear, allows the middle lane to proceed. For the safety of your child, please make sure that they enter the vehicle on the passenger side of the vehicle; this eliminates the risk of your child being struck by an oncoming vehicle that's moving. Drop-off and pick-up are not the appropriate time to speak with your child's teacher if you need to talk with the teacher, please send an email or a parents square or call the office and leave a message. Remember to use the crosswalk both morning and afternoon. The safety of students, staff, and families is our top priority crossing the street in oncoming traffic is dangerous and can cause harm to pedestrians and drivers as well as passengers. The crosswalk is the safest way to cross the street. Remember, safety is far better than convenience. Distracted driving also creates a safety risk. Cell phones and other devices should not be used when driving on campus. Please ensure that those phone conversations and text messages await your arrival at home. If seen using your phone, a staff member will ask you to please put your phone away until you reach home. The front row of parking is a one-lane exit only. All traffic must exit the campus the same way. Remember only right turns are allowed during drop-off and pick-up. Please ensure that you obey the posted speed limit and stop signs. Speeding and rolling stops will lead to accidents, and we don't any accidents and last but not least wear your seat belts This has been a public service announcement brought to you by the Safety Committee of Belle Creek Charter School
