Welcome! My name is Sonja Lara and I am one of the kindergarten teachers at Belle Creek. I am looking forward to an exciting year with your child!
I graduated from Colorado State University with my Bachelors degree in Sociology. Once I was out of college, I worked at a bank for a couple of years and then worked for a title company in their accounting department. I have always wanted to be a teacher and decided to pursue childhood education. I graduated from University of Northern Colorado with my Masters' in Childhood Education with a concentration of grades K-5. I have been in the classroom over the last four years and I love it!
I believe that every child is a unique and special individual, and I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for them to thrive. My goal is to create a joyous and engaging learning experience, where children can explore, imagine, and build strong foundations for their academic and social development.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year filled with laughter, friendship, and endless opportunities to grow. Let's make this a fun year!
