Hello Wildcat Parents! I am Ms. Thornburgh, your child's new 3rd grade teacher! I am driven by the movement of creating an educational environment that caters to students of all kinds and develops their educational experience accordingly. No matter what a student’s background, language, race, economic profile, gender, learning capability, disability or family history, each student can get the support and resources they need to achieve their educational goals. I am originally from Florida, lived in Colorado 20 years ago, recently moved from San Diego, and life has a funny way of bringing me back "home." I love reading (anything and everything) and consider myself a life-long learner. I love being outside, however, I am still readjusting to the cold! When I am not teaching and nurturing your kiddos, I am usually spending time with my dog Chewy and kitty Baby Cat. I am so excited and honored to be on this journey with you.
